Representative Recoveries
- Johnson v. Matheison – largest settlement ever paid out in a burn case against a public school teacher and principal with an immunity defense in Georgia history, $1,500,000.  (Douglas County Superior Court,  2016)  READ THE FULL STORY HERE
- Vann v. Finley – double fatality trailer fire, over $4,000,000 recovered from three defendants. Defeated City of Augusta on claims of official and sovereign immunity in the trial court, Ga. Court of Appeals, and Ga. Supreme Court (2008-2012).
- Daniel v. ABC Gas Co. - $2,100,000 confidential cash settlement against large gas company for negligent inspection of a hot water heater that caused an explosion and severely burned and killed an elderly woman. (Richmond Co. Superior Court, 2011)
- Pearson v. Claflin University, et al - $425,000 cash settlement for electrical shock burns against a college and several other defendants for failure to cut off power to power lines while a contractor was pressure washing dormitories.”  (Aiken Co. SC Court of Common Pleas, 2009)
- Hawkins v. Maxim Healthcare - $200,000 pre-suit cash settlement for scald burns from hot water to a disabled patient by a home health nurse.  (Aiken Co., SC, 2009)
